Queen of the Valley Hospital offers the area’s only neonatal intensive care unit, community cancer center and acute rehabilitation center, not to mention one of the region’s finest heart centers and women’s healthcare centers.
More than 200 physicians practice at the Queen, and represent nearly 50 medical specialties. One of the hospital’s most distinguished specialty services is its Regional Heart Center, which offers outstanding care and a full complement of services, from EKG monitoring and angioplasty to complex “beating heart surgery” and cardiac rehabilitation. Two comprehensive Cardiac Catheterization Labs are fully equipped to perform advanced diagnostic tests and interventional procedures.
The Queen’s Community Cancer Center, approved by the Commission on Cancer, specializes in patient-focused care. Complete diagnostic imaging services include ultrasound, nuclear medicine, computerized tomography (CT) scans and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
