BUSINESS FORUMS/SEMINARS
The Napa Chamber of Commerce sponsors business forums/seminars on a regularly scheduled basis. Members are invited to attend these educational opportunities at a lower rate than non-members.

LABOR LAW COMPLIANCE PRODUCTS
Most of the employment posters businesses must post as required by law carry some potential penalty for failure to post. For example, some employers are required to post a “Job Safety and Health Notice” that summarizes the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act. An employer who fails to post this notice could face a fine of up to $7,000.00. Failure to post the following federally-required notices could result in fines of $100.00 per violation: Family and Medical Leave Act Notice, Notice to Workers with Disabilities, Equal Employment Opportunity Notice.

In addition to the federally-required posters, California has its own rules regarding state-required posters. California law provides job safety and health protection for workers under the Cal/OSHA program. This poster explains the basic requirements and procedures for compliance with the state’s job safety and health laws and regulations. Failure to post this poster could result in a penalty of up to $7,000.00.

What should you do? Replace your employment posters annually or as required of all updated federal and state agency posters.

REFERRALS
The Napa Chamber of Commerce receives thousands of calls annually from people all over the country asking all types of questions. Any and all referrals go only to members of the Napa Chamber of Commerce. The Napa Chamber of Commerce also furnishes relocation, visitor, wedding, business, kid and senior packages, at a cost, and winery and lodging lists to those who are interested. Members can take advantage of these opportunities by supplying us with brochures, rack cards or business cards for insertion in these packages. BUSINESS DIRECTORY LISTING
Included in your membership investment is an alphabetical and categorical listing for your business/organization in the Napa Chamber of Commerce Business Directory. This guide goes out annually to all members, who are asked to use this resource prior to picking up the Yellow Pages. Thousands of these directories are sent out in relocation and business packets as well.

WEBSITE LISTING
Your business is listed free of charge on the Napa Chamber’s website at www.napachamber.com which receives an average of over 400,000 unique visits per year. There are three ways a Chamber member can be located: 1) alphabetically, 2) typing a key word, contact person or name of the business, or 3) searching for a business by classification.

AWARD-WINNING E-NEWSLETTER
Napa Business Focus is a vital electronic newsletter currently reaching a subscriber base of over 1,500 Napa Chamber of Commerce members twice a month. Business Focus keeps our members up-to-date with legislative issues concerning businesses in the local Napa area and state of California.

Each issue includes our popular Member News. This area focuses on our members who submit their press releases to the Chamber. As a member of the Chamber you are automatically signed up to receive Napa Business Focus. Nearly 20,000 people receive the Napa Chamber newsletter COMMERCE as an insert within their monthly copy of the Napa Valley Business Times. COMMERCE allows you to keep up to date on what is going on within the Chamber and within the business community. All new members will be introduced via a listing in the New Members section. COMMERCE IN NAPA TV PROGRAM
The Napa Chamber’s monthly television program airs on Napa Public Access Television (Channel 28) each Saturday at 4:30pm and Sunday at 7:30pm. Interviews by host Ira C.
