Letter from the Board

The Napa Chamber may be 120 years old, but it isn’t afraid to embrace the tools, trends and technology that make it a cutting edge organization.

I’m pleased to be the 2009 Chairman of the Board for the Napa Chamber – and I’m even more pleased to offer you this Napa City Guide as a great resource for you to connect with our community.

Although this printed version is a beautiful piece, you’ll be happy to know that this publication also appears online, both on the Chamber’s website and on our publisher’s site at www.villageprofile.com in its chamber convergence network. You can access it from your PDA or mobile device, so you’ll never be out of touch with one of Napa’s best informational resources.

Whether you are just starting a business, looking for employees, thinking of relocating to Napa or you are a visitor to our lovely area, this publication can be of help to you. A glance at the table of contents on page four will reveal the wealth of information available in this one stop guide to local information, businesses and, of course, your Napa Chamber of Commerce.

As you peruse this book and take note of the many attributes our community offers, I hope you will also realize that there are outstanding local sources for nearly every need you may have. As a business community or a residential community, we all have the power to make our local economy stronger by purchasing goods and services in our own home towns. Now more than ever this is an important part of how you can truly make a difference in our community.

As the Napa Chamber celebrates its 120th anniversary throughout 2009, we remain committed to the values that the organization was founded on: a stronger community through collaborative efforts. Even as you read through this book you will see that it took many different sources to bring such a wealth of information to you. We thank all the contributors who helped make this publication what it is. And I especially want to acknowledge and thank the Napa Chamber’s staff for the editorial and photographic work that makes this City Guide and Business Directory such a beautiful piece.

We encourage you to use this City Guide and Business Directory to build your own Napa Valley Playlist. Do you need a personal recommendation? Contact the Napa Chamber at (707) 226-7455 and our staff will be happy to assist you in your experience of the legendary Napa Valley!

Sincerely,

Mike Silvas
2009 Chairman of the Board
