Educational services are provided by public schools within Elmhurst Community Unit School District 205, several private and parochial schools, and public schools in Salt Creek District 48, Villa Park District 45 and DuPage High School District 88.

District 205 (formed in 1974) enrolls more than 7,600 students at a pre-K early childhood center, eight elementary schools (K-5), three middle schools (6-8) and York Community High School.

Private/parochial schools include Immaculate Conception Catholic Schools (K-12), Timothy Christian Schools (K-12), Visitation Catholic School (K-8) and Immanuel Lutheran School (K-8).
