University of Findlay

The new $17.7 million Findlay-area campus of Owens Community College offers students more than 100 degree and certificate programs, while The University of Findlay provides 60 academic majors, nine graduate degree programs and a doctor of pharmacy program.

Originally Findlay College, the school became known as The University of Findlay in 1989 and is now recognized as the largest private university in northwest Ohio, enrolling around 4,700 students.

The university was named the Best Midwestern College for 2007 by Princeton Review, was acknowledged as “College of Distinction” by Student Horizons Inc. in 2005 and 2006 and, on top of that, was recognized as one of “America’s Best Private Colleges” by Institutional Research and Evaluation Inc. in both 2005 and 2006.

Brown Mackie College and Winebrenner Theological Seminary are also available for students.
