Findlay Healthcare
Blanchard Valley Hospital celebrated its major Grand Opening of the new Thomas B. and Kathleen M. Donnell Patient Pavilion in February of 2007. This six-story building is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and technology and includes intensive and coronary care units, oncology, medical-surgery services, pediatrics, rehabilitation and obstetrics. The move into this new facility also allowed the addition of a Level II Special Care Nursery.
Another healthcare option in the community is the Findlay Surgery Center, a modern facility specializing in a number of medical services including ear, nose and throat, endoscopy, general surgery, laser eye surgery, plastic surgery, orthopedics and urology, among others. Residents can also find a wealth of further diverse healthcare resources, with many practices in the Greater Findlay area offering services such as dentistry, orthodontics, optometry, chiropractic and podiatry, to name a few.
