The Hancock Park District oversees more than 3,000 acres of parkland, nature preserves and additional recreational areas.
Current additions and renovations include the recent grand opening of the Old Mill Stream Scenic Byway, the 2006 groundbreaking for the Rotary Field of Dreams, a $2.5 million 5-plex complete with both baseball and softball fields, and the recent $2 million renovation of The Cube seasonal ice arena in 2006.
