Findlay, along with the entirety of the Greater Findlay region, enjoys a strong, diverse business environment, one that continuously attracts new steadfast ventures.

Findlay is known as a regional employment and retail hub for more than 300,000 people, and it has been recognized as a top place not only to live but also to establish a business.

Agriculture remains strong, with around 1,150 farms spanning over 300,000 acres of farmland in Hancock County.

The area produces traditional products including corn, soybeans and wheat and has very recently constructed two new ethanol plants.

In 2006, BizJournals.com listed Findlay as a “Dream Town,” ranking it in the top 100 of 600 micropolitan areas.

In addition, Findlay has also been acknowledged as one of the 100 Best Communities for Young People and ranks in the 20 Top Micropolitan Areas in the U.S. for new and developing facilities.
